How it works...

Apply to Salad Money using the form below. Applying won't affect your credit score^
We'll check your eligibility for a loan against the application criteria and if suitable, you’ll be sent to the Salad Money website
If you are not eligible for a Salad Money loan, we will try our other lenders to see if we can get you a loan elsewhere
If another lender accepts your application you’ll be redirected to their website

^In order to assess your suitability for a loan, lenders may perform a soft credit check, this does not harm your credit score and is not visible to other lenders. If you accept a loan offer, you will be redirected to the lender and they may ask to perform a full credit check.

About Salad Money

Salad Money is a for-profit social enterprise and believes that lending should be fair for everyone. They provide small, affordable loans to NHS, public and private sector employees.

Comparisons on allthelenders use the highest possible APR available, you may find that if you are accepted for a loan it could be cheaper that what is displayed here. This is because loan quotations are personalised to your exact circumstances.

Salad Money will not make a decision on your loan based on your credit score, they use the latest technology in Open Banking to make sure the loan is affordable for you. Open Banking is a UK wide FCA regulated service that gives you more control over your banking data. Open Banking enables you to share your data securely with selected third parties such as Salad Money.

Eligibility Criteria

You must be over 18 years of age.

You must be in permanent employment but not working within the hospitality or construction sectors.

You must not be currently serving your probation or notice period.

Your minimum take home pay should be £1400 per month.

You have not been registered as insolvent in the last 6 years.

You are not currently in any form of debt management plan including an Individual Voluntary Agreement (IVA) / and Trust deed or, within the last year, have experienced any form of bankruptcy, sequestration or DRO (Debt Relief Order).

You are not suffering from any illness or addiction which would mean that borrowing money would be likely to cause you harm. While many forms of addiction exist, alcohol, drugs, and gambling are the most common, and all of these can lead to personal, health, and financial harm (including becoming over indebted or spending too much).

Applying

People over 18 can apply for a Salad Money loan, but you’ll need to meet their lending criteria.  Salad Money loans are not suitable for those who may already be struggling with debt.

Salad Money differs from many other lenders because their lending decision isn’t based on your credit score, they use Open Banking to take a look at your incomings and outgoings and then determine whether a loan is affordable for you or not – this is a much fairer way of assessing your suitablity for a loan.

The great thing about applying on allthelenders is that if Salad Money cannot accept your application then we will search our comprehensive panel of lenders to see if any other lenders will accept you, saving you time and helping you to get the loan that you need.
