There is no obligation to accept a loan offer at all and it won’t harm your credit report.

No, we do not run full credit checks.  Lenders will perform a soft search which gives a snapshot of your financial history.  They then use this information, coupled with the information you give us in your application, to make a lending decision. We have a panel of more than 40 different lenders so you have a much greater chance of finding a lender with us. This whole process usually takes around 2 minutes.

Not necessarily, no – it is extremely unlikely.  We work with a large panel of more than 40 lenders and whilst some of these are guarantor lenders, the majority are not and offer unsecured personal loans.

This is dependent on your personal circumstances and your credit history.  Whilst many of our lenders work specifically with customers that have bad credit, if you have multiple defaults and CCJ’s you may find your options are more limited.  We would recommend trying the test to see which lenders would accept you.

A soft search of your credit report is not visible to any lender or credit provider and will not affect your chances of getting credit.  It is important to remember, lenders will perform a full credit check before making a final offer of a loan and this will be recorded on your credit report, however, this will only happen when you give your explicit consent to a lender. We do not run credit checks.
